About "Happy & Monthsary"

"Happy & Monthsary" is the natural progression of the Blog and the Blogger. If "Happy Monthsary" chronicled the date ideas by Kai Palileo, this time around, "Happy & Monthsary" will visualize the happy ideas and the pursuit of "regular" happiness by Kai Palileo-CRUZ.

As I enter a new chapter in my life, I look back to all the blessings that happened to me in a span of 3 years. I met Cy late 2007, He asked me to be his girlfriend in the most creative way imaginable in 2008, our relationship bloomed for 2 years without fighting AT ALL (only charming monthsary ideas to keep us together), got engaged and planned our kick-ass wedding in 2010, and married in 2011! If you ask me how I suddenly chanced upon this beautiful luck? One word: HAPPINESS =)

Before I met Cy, I was recovering from a clinically diagnosed DEPRESSION. I was on medication, had a psychiatrist and a psychologist (yes those are two, very different people), and went on a personal hiatus cut from the world. During this period, I discovered the book THE SECRET by Rhonda Byrne and learned principles like POSITIVITY, LAW OF ATTRACTION, ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE, VISION BOARDS, etc. etc.

I quickly became a student of The Secret, constantly trying to learn it every day. And when I was starting to apply it in my life, that's when Cy turned up.

As I open a new chapter in my life, my personal goal is to keep on pursuing "regular" happiness and keep the monthsaries alive. Happy & Monthsary will be my constant companion in reminding me of the things that make me happy, and will include my personal notes on how to continue pursuing happiness -- from the shallow, to the profound (such as happiness out of cupcakes, happiness from a new date idea with the hubby, and happiness from the law of attraction).

In the process, I wish to inspire my readers ---this time not just on date ideas, but also on how to stay happy. This is my little contribution to somehow spread positivity in this negative-infested world wide web.

With that being said, please note that while I absolutely enjoy it when readers leave comments in my posts, in general, I wish we can keep things on a more positive note because there are already so many negativity on the web as it is, and I don't want my blog to participate in that. Therefore inappropriate comments will definitely be deleted. Thank you for your understanding :)
